Halloween is just around the corner, and there’s no better way to show your spirit than by decorating your RV. Many RV campgrounds and resorts throw special Halloween events to help their campers enjoy some family fun together. Get involved in the Halloween festivities at your campground with these spooky decorating ideas that are guaranteed to attract trick or treaters.

Decorate on the Cheap

Dollar stores are some of the best places to find cheap Halloween decorations that won’t break your travel budget. Dollar Tree offers tons of flags, banners, streamers, and paper decorations that can turn your RV into a Halloween hotspot for just a few dollars. Other fun decorations, like pumpkins and gourds, can be purchased at local farmer’s markets.

Throw Your Own Festivities

You don’t have to rely on your campground to throw a fun Halloween party. Host a costume party outside of your RV for all of the other campers at the RV park. Goodwill and the Salvation Army are great places to shop for used costumes or vintage clothing that can be used for costumes on the cheap. Ask each of your fellow campers to bring a special Halloween snack, to help you save money on hosting the event.

Don’t forget to plan some exciting Halloween games for the adults and kids that attend your party. Simple and cheap holiday games include bobbing for apples, pin the face on the pumpkin, breaking a Halloween pinata or even squash bowling.

Storing Your Halloween Supplies for Next Year

Storing anything extra in your RV can seem impossible, but your Halloween supplies don’t have to clutter up your RV storage space. Store reusable decorations in plastic bins and donate your used costumes and clothing back to Goodwill. If you purchased your decorations for a low price and are willing to give them up, they can always be recycled or given to your fellow campers for next year.

Get Your Fall RV Supplies at Reines

The fall RV season is fully underway, and there’s no better place to stock up on all of the motorhome, travel trailer, and fifth wheel supplies you need for the cooler temperatures than at Reines RV Center in Manassas.
